Tide was bred by Kathy Howland of Fleetwing Kennels in Nova Scotia, Canada. He is co-owned by Kathy, Linda Brox of Ontario, with whom Tide resides, and Helen Szostak.

Tide is a lovely 7 1/2 year old male, of moderate size and has a wonderful outline. He has a soft warm expression with good fill and dark eye. He has great bone, nice tight feet and good topline. He has the perfect coat; pin straight, wet or dry.

Tide has a very soft temperament, and loves to cuddle and be a lap dog. He loves children and will quickly drop to the ground to get a tummy rub. His easy going demeaner is perfect as Tide is also a blood donor at our Ontario Vetrinarary College and is used as the demo dog for ICU students.

Tide finished his Canadian Championship at 9 mos of age going breed over Specials multiple times. He also achieved his American Championship in the same manner. He then quickly became a Grand Champion in both countries. Over one weekend Tide obtained his UKC Championship with a Best In Show.

He is also enrolled in obedience classes, but bores easily and prefers to play fetch and be admired…he is a little vain.

Tide’s Parents

Tide’s Sire was Rainesgift Over The Moon. He died tragically young after getting hit by a train at only 6 years old. Tide’s Dam was Can Ch Fleetwings Curvas Gauss
